Dogs Trust Worldwide understands the scale of suffering faced by dogs all around the world, and we aim to support local organisations, who share our vision and values, to help improve the lives and welfare of dogs worldwide.
Through our European Champions Grants, in partnership with Purina, we will support organisations across Europe to build their capacity to help improve the lives of the dogs under their care and within their community.
Applications to the Champions Fund (Europe) are welcomed from registered, not for profit organisations who wish to improve dog, or dog and cat welfare. We will provide grants of up to £10,000 to support the applicants organisational work in line with the areas specified below.
In 2023 we are accepting applications that are directed towards improving local rehoming practices. These could include requests for funds to make material improvements to existing rehoming centre/shelter infrastructure, equipment to improve the running of shelters/rehoming centres or to provide enrichment opportunities for the dogs in the rehoming centre/shelter.
Applications aimed at improving local fostering/adoption programmes are welcomed.
