Dogs Trust Worldwide understands the scale of suffering faced by dogs all around the world, and we aim to support local organisations, who share our vision and values, to help improve the lives and welfare of dogs worldwide.
In Europe we will help organisations via our European Champions Fund, but we know that there are dogs which need our help across the globe, and through our Worldwide Champions Fund, we will support organisations around the rest of the world, to increase their capacity to help improve the lives of the dogs under their care and within their community.
India, Sri Lanka and Thailand are key countries of focus for Dogs Trust Worldwide, for which we deliver separate programmes, so organisations from those countries who would like to work with us should visit the India and Sri Lanka and Thailand pages on our website and contact us at international@dogstrustworldwide.com
We are unable to support organisations in the UK and the Republic of Ireland where Dogs Trust has its own programmes, while organisations from the USA should refer to the Dogs Trust USA website for grants available to support work in the United States: http://www.dogstrustusa.org/
Applications to the Champions Fund (Worldwide) are welcomed from registered, not for profit organisations who wish to improve dog welfare. We will provide grants of up to £10,000 to support the applicants organisational work in line with the areas specified below.
In 2023 we are accepting applications that are directed towards improving local rehoming practices. These could include requests for funds to make material improvements to existing rehoming centre/shelter infrastructure, equipment to improve the running of shelters/rehoming centres or to provide enrichment opportunities for the dogs in the rehoming centre/shelter.
Applications aimed at improving local fostering/adoption programmes are welcomed.
